England have set off on the Trip to Japan.
The squad flew from Heathrow Airport in London on Sunday and so are put to land on Monday in Tokyo.
Their arrival in Japan is scheduled to match with Typhoon Faxai, which is predicted to cause disturbance.
The storm has generated winds of up to 180kph and is expected to hit regions of the Kanto region between Sunday and early Monday, the Japan Meteorological Agency said.
Tournament organisers have planned for the possibility of needing to relocate teams from their foundations or even to move matches to various places.
The stadiums to get England’s first two matches, against Tonga at Sapporo and the usa at Kobe, have roofs and Jones states that the team will train indoors on artificial turf.
Before they confront the Tongans in their opening game on September 22 england have two weeks.
They will then confront America on September 26 prior to playing Argentina in Tokyo on October 5.
England take on France in their final group stage game in Yokohama.
