Against the Spread Pick
Duquesne has started off their season going 5-1 against conference foes, and they have a good chance to build off that record on Saturday. It’s understandable if fans are a bit wary of the Dukes; after all, all of their conference victories have come against teams that are currently .500 or worse. The team also hasn’t been tested a whole lot on the road, although they did win two of their road games against inferior opponents by an average margin of 12 points.
Over Under Pick
Of course, the Minutemen probably won’t give the Dukes too much of a run on Saturday. UMass is 7-12 overall and only 1-5 in conference play, and they’re 2-12 over their last 14 games. Their 6-3 home record is solid, but their only conference home win came against La Salle… which shares the same record as the Minutemen.
