Tar Heels

Duke -8 Point Spread

Under 149.5 Game Totals

Against the Spread Pick

For the first time since 2015, the North Carolina Tar Heels are home underdogs against the Duke Devils. And it’s not hard to figure out why. North Carolina is 10-12 overall, 3-8 in the ACC, and has lost seven of its last nine games. Star freshman Cole Anthony is back, but nonetheless the Tar Heels still fell in succession to Boston College and Florida State. The Blue Devils have won four in a row, including two straight on the road. They aren’t going to fear a trip to the Dean Dome–heck, no one is fearing a trip to the Dean Dome these days. Duke is 5-2 ATS in its last seven on the road against opponents with winning home records and 5-1 ATS in its last six following an ATS loss. The Tar Heels are 1-5 ATS in their last six at home and 1-4 ATS in their last five on Saturdays. Go with the BLUE DEVILS.

Over Under Pick

Even with Anthony on the floor, North Carolina still finished with a mere 59 points against the Seminoles. Duke held Boston College to 55 points on Tuesday. The under is 32-15-1 in the Tar Heels’ last 48 overall, 4-1-1 in their last six at home, and 6-0 in their last six against opponents with winning records. Expect this one to stay UNDER the total.
