Detroit Red Wings

Ottawa Senators

OTT Senators Point Spread

Over 6.0 Game Totals

Money Line Pick

It is hard to have a worse game than this as the two worst teams in the entire Eastern Conference play a game that means nothing. At least Ottawa can win games, as the Senators beat Vancouver last time out.  Meanwhile, the Red Wings just lost 7-1 to the Minnesota Wild. The Red Wings have also scored more than two goals just twice over their last ten games. There is really nothing anyone one could do to make me back this Detroit team. They have been a fade all season and nothing changes here. Take Ottawa as a lean because they are not good either.

Over Under Pick

Even though Detroit really cannot score ever, their defense is so bad that it could warrant an over. Although Ottawa is not exactly the best when it comes to scoring either. The Senators do average about 3 goals per home game, while their defense gives up 3. Detroit is allowing 4.09 goals per game on the road as well. Furthermore, over the last five, these teams are allowing a combined 7.8 goals per game. The over is 6-2 in Ottawa’s last 8 games following a win, so I lean to the over in this match-up.
