Against the Spread Pick
The Davidson Wildcats have underachieved this season, but they should not be getting–nor should they need–nine points against anyone in the Atlantic 10 other than Dayton. Davidson is starting to get in gear with a 4-1 record in its past five games and its only loss during this stretch has come in quadruple overtime. Hyunjung Lee scored 16 points in last weekend’s 85-50 blowout of Massachusetts and was named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week. VCU backup guard Vince Williams, who is logging more than 16 minutes per game and is one of his team’s best defensive players, is questionable. Davidson is 4-1 ATS in its last five overall. The Rams are 5-11 ATS in their last 16 at home, 5-11 ATS in their last 16 against opponents with winning records, and 1-6 ATS in their last seven at home against opponents with losing road records. Take the WILDCATS.
Over Under Pick
Davidson delivered its second-best shooting percentage in school history against the Minutemen. Kellan Grady has exceeded his scoring average (16.0 ppg) in three of the past four contests. The over is 3-1-1 in the Wildcats’ last five on the road and 3-1-1 in their last five on the road against opponents with winning home records. It is also 5-1 in the Rams’ last six overall and 6-2 in their last eight following a loss. Look for this one to go OVER the total.
