Money Line Pick
Dallas and Toronto will be in for a duel, as the Stars head north to Canada, for their match-up at Scotiabank Arena. The Stars will be looking for a little payback after dropping their home meeting with the Maple Leafs, in an ugly performance, as Toronto cruised to a two-goal victory. Dallas has a chance to earn a third-straight win, after strong wins against St. Louis and Carolina. The Stars have won four of their last six games. Toronto hasn’t had the easiest stretch of games lately, but they are 2-1 in their last three games. The Leafs are also coming off a stretch of three-straight games that went to overtime. Toronto has defended their home ice well, winning six of the last seven head-to-head meetings with Dallas at Scotiabank Arena. Dallas is still a good hockey team, but taking the Maple Leafs at home is a must.
Over Under Pick
Dallas doesn’t have the goal scoring rep that a team like Toronto has been able to reach this season. That hasn’t stopped the Stars from competing night in and night out. Two of the last three head-to-head meetings have resulted in over seven-goal totals. That includes in the first meeting in Dallas this season, as the Maple Leafs took home a 5-3 victory. Toronto has favored the over in 10 of its last 14 games. The Stars isn’t the scoring threat of the Maple Leafs, but taking an over six-goal total is still the right pick.
