Money Line Pick
A match-up that features a pair of teams currently at 29 wins, and looking for more as the Dallas Stars make a visit to Barclays Center to face the Islanders. Dallas has won six of the last 10 head-to-head meetings, but they haven’t faced-off in New York since November 2018. In that last visit, the Stars were able to get a very convincing victory. The Islanders are 15-7-4 at home this season, while the Stars best success hasn’t come on the road, but they do have a respectable 13-10-2 record when on the road. Dallas will look to get another win on the road against a Metropolitan team. Barclays Center hasn’t been easy to play for a visitor which makes taking the Islanders at home that much more valuable. Take New York, but Dallas should make it tough.
Over Under Pick
The offenses for both Dallas and New York have been less than impressive, yet they still find ways to outdo their current season averages. The Stars have scored three or more goals in four straight games. Meanwhile, the Islanders have found the net at least three times in three of their last four games. Not to mention the last time these teams faced-off in New York, when Dallas was able to find the net six times, in a 6-2 blowout of the Islanders. With such a low total for this clash, taking an over five-goal total is a must.
