The inconsistent Avalanche strike again! Fresh off a three-game winless streak, Colorado has since strung together four-straight victories (as of Friday afternoon). There’s a chance they could keep rolling on Saturday, as the team is an impressive 20-9-2 on the road and 18-13 against the spread. Further, they absolutely stomped Nashville the last time these teams won, winning 9-4 back in November. If there’s any reason for worry, it’s the fact that Colorado is playing at Carolina on Friday night. The Predators are also streaking, as Nashville has now won their last three contests. The team has been solid in February, putting together an 8-4-1 stretch that’s improved their home record to 16-12-4. Unfortunately, that home record doesn’t translate into money in our pockets, as they’re only 9-23 against the spread this season. Even with Colorado playing on Friday, we’re confident they’ll have enough in the tank to take down the Predators. We’re taking Avalanche money line.

Over Under Pick

These are two of the most potent offenses in the NHL, and the two teams combine for more than 6.5 goals per game. Therefore, the 5.5 total is a bit surprising (if not disrespectful). We’re taking the over on Saturday.
