Against the Spread Pick
The Cavs have lost eight straight but the last time they did win it was against Detroit, in the Motor City, in overtime. It is hard to know what you are going to get with this team but they seem to bring a good effort most nights. In that win Tristan Thompson was the high man with 35 points. That is out of character for the veteran but he is having a really good season. He and Kevin Love are savvy vets who can get things done near the rim even though they are slowing down. The Pistons are not playing great either. Andre Drummond is back in the lineup but Blake Griffin is out and Reggie Jackson, after just getting healthy enough to play again is questionable. A healthy Detroit team would be able to beat the Cavs pretty easily but this current iteration is not offering much confidence. Take the Cavs on the road.
Over Under Pick
These teams played back to back in early January, splitting the two games with both going over. One was helped by overtimes and both of these teams are guilty of putting up a lot of bricks. I am not trusting the Pistons right now when it comes to putting the ball in the basket. Take the under.
