Against the Spread Pick
The Bulls are on a mini-run with back to back wins and three in four. They just lost Lauri Markkanen to injury though and with Wendell Carter Jr. also down that makes them extra thin upfront. Some nights they are playing Kris Dunn as a forward and they can get away with defensively because he is that good but their offense is going to struggle if they don’t find someone to score other than Zach LaVine. Their recent play is promising but I am not sure you want to back them here. Victor Oladipo might play on Wednesday and his return to the lineup could not be better timed. Malcolm Brogdon was playing like an All-Star early in the season but has slowed down and been hurt, in and out of the lineup. He is questionable but the return of Oladipo would soften his absence just a little. Indiana is so strong upfront and they should be able to dominate with Damontas Sabonis and Myles Turner in this one. Take Indiana.
Over Under Pick
In all three of their recent wins, the Bulls have been able to ramp up their offense and the total has gone over. None were against teams that I would call defensive-minded. The injuries and taking on Indiana, who it top 10 in scoring D, will bring down that number. The Pacers have been giving up a lot of points lately, 139 in their game, a loss to Portland. I think that motivates them to tighten up for this one. Take the under.
