Puck Line Pick
Chicago gets the ultimate test as they make the trip to Amalie Arena for a clash with the red-hot Tampa Bay Lightning. The Blackhawks have lost two straight games against the best of the Central Division, and eight of their last 10 overall. Tampa Bay’s strong run has hit a bit of a snag with three-straight losses. Chicago has lost eight in a row against the Lightning. Tampa Bay has won each of the last three head-to-head meetings by at least two goals. Backing the Lightning on the puck line is the right play.
Over Under Pick
Tampa Bay continues to be quite capable of scoring at least three goals per game, even in defeat. Chicago is coming off a really high scoring match-up as they came up short in a 6-5 loss against St. Louis. The Lightning haven’t scored less than three goals in six games. They have also combined for totals of seven or more goals in five straight. Each of the Lightning’s last five games has all resulted in over totals. Taking an over 6.5 goal total is a tough call, especially with the Blackhawks’ tendency to struggle away from home, but leaning the over is still the right move.
