Money Line Pick
The inconsistent Blackhawks are once again playing solid hockey. Chicago rebounded from a rough 1-3-0 stretch earlier this month to go 6-1 over their last seven. Most notably, four of those victories came on the road, where Chicago’s improved their overall record to 13-9-3. They’re also an incredible 18-7 against the spread on the road, and they’re going against a Wild team that’s only 11-14 against the spread when playing in Minnesota.
Over Under Pick
Speaking of the Wild, the team can’t get out of their own way. While they have brilliant wins (like the 7-0 victory over Dallas earlier this month), those are overshadowed by infuriating losses (like the 6-1 loss on Saturday). Overall, Minnesota is on a stretch where they’ve gone 4-7-1, with six of those eight straight-up losses coming at home. That’s dropped the Wild’s home record to 14-7-4. While that number is solid, it’s clear that it’s a bit disingenuous when considering their current stretch.
