Central Michigan

Ohio -3 Point Spread

Under 152.5 Game Totals

Against The Spread Pick

Ohio will attempt to bounce back at home after having their two game win streak ended at the hands of Kent State. Central Michigan will look to pick up a much needed win to snap their three game losing streak. The Bobcats are a respectable 8-5 at home, while the Chippewas have been a terrible 2-8 on the road. While Ohio’s offense is nothing notable they have scored 73 or more in their last five home games. Central Michigans defense is one of the worst in the country ranking 317th or lower opponents scoring, shooting percentage, and three-point percentage. The only shining light this season for the Chippewas is their high powered offense which in their last three games has been held under 70 points. Ohio is 6-3 ATS in their last nine and 4-1 in their last five games on Tuesday. While the Bobcats defense isn’t stellar it should be enough to slow Central Michigan down. I like Ohio to cover at home.

Over Under Pick

Both teams boast a slightly inflated points per game stat as games against non D1 opponents ran their average up. The Chippewas have scored 70 points or less in each of their three games during their three-game losing streak and the Bobcats have scored 73 or less in four of their last five. I would expect Ohio to slow the pace down as they already rank 220th in pace of play and attempt to curb Central Michigans offense. The under is 4-1 in Ohio’s last five and 7-3 in Central Michigans last ten. The under is the play in this one.
