Acu??a watched a fly ball that he hit at the bottom of the third inning of yesterday’s 5-3 win against the Dodgers like it had been a home run but it struck the perfect field wall and also that which should happen to be an extra-base hit flipped into one and he was thrown out attempting to steal second base.
Braves manager Brian Snitker pulled Acu??a from the match instantly due to his lack of hustle on the drama.
“There is no excuse for it. I just took it and said’Obviously’ He is the supervisor, I am the player and I will respect his decisions,” Acu??a said about being pulled from the game in the fourth inning.
“You’ve gotta rush. It’s not gont be okay here,” Snitker informed reporters. “As a teammate, you’re responsible for 24 other men. That title on front is a lot more significant than that title around the back of the jersey. You can’t do that. We are trying to accomplish something and do something unique here. Personal things need to get set on the backpack ”
Acu??a is young and he’ll make mistakes but he’s handling this episode the perfect way. The gifted outfielder is hitting on .296 with 35 home runs and 85 RBIs in 125 games and when he learned his lesson afterward the incident will be forgotten immediately.
