Money Line Pick
As of right now, Boston is sitting comfortably in the Eastern Conference playoffs. However, they cannot afford to slip up now because they are still chasing Washington for the top seed and home-ice advantage throughout the postseason. They are playing mediocre hockey at best right now, going 5-5 over their last 10 games. The good news is they will likely see the return of their top goalie, Tuukka Rask. Rask missed some time due to a concussion, but is probable to make his return against Winnipeg. The Jets were sitting in the playoffs, but losing their last four games in a row has changed this dramatically. They are now trailing Arizona by three points for the final playoff spot in the West. The Jets really have no home advantage here, given that they are 1-7 in their last eight home games and 11-11-2 overall. With Rusk back in net, I like the Bruins to continue their quest for the top seed in the East and pick up a road win.
Over Under Pick
The total in this game is six and even with Rusk back in net, I like the over here. Over the last five games, the Jets are allowing an average of 4 goals per game. Because the Boston goalie has been out for awhile, I believe he will be a little rusty and the Jets will find their fair share of goals as well. The over is 4-0 in their last four head to head meetings. This is not a total I love, but it would be a lean to the over.
