BAY -6.5 Point Spread

Under 128 Game Totals

Against The Spread Pick

The first-ranked Baylor Bears head on a short trip to Austin for their toughest test yet, as they face-off with the Texas Longhorns. Baylor has covered the spread in seven of its last 10 games. The Longhorns are coming off back-to-back losses against Kansas and Texas Tech. The Bears have not only handled themselves quite easily against the Longhorns in recent meetings, but Baylor is also 9-4 ATS in the last 13 head-to-head meetings. Texas was able to win the last time these teams met in Austin, but since then it has been all Baylor. Texas has struggled to score the ball this season, and Baylor is the top-ranked team for good reason. Taking Baylor to cover -6.5 points is a must.

Over Under Pick

The Longhorns at the offensive end of the floor has been less than spectacular.  Texas is currently 316th in the country in that category with an average of less than 66-points per game. Baylor meanwhile comes in averaging nearly 72.5 points per game. In their first meeting this season, Baylor rolled to a 59-44 victory. If this match-up comes close to that amount, the over is definitely far from reachable, as they only combined for a 103-point total. The Bears have the tools to score with the best teams in the country, but a play on an over 128-point total isn’t worth it here.
