Bournemouth goalkeeper Asmir Begovic has joined Azerbaijani side Qarabag FK on a loan deal.
Aaron Ramsdale has begun for the Cherries’ four Premier League matches in goal this season, together using Begovic to make an appearance.
Back-up’keeper Mark Travers also helped last week, Bournemouth achieve the third round of their Carabao Cup.
At the end of last season, Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe denied there had been a falling out between himself and Begovic after maybe not choosing him for their 1-0 victory over Tottenham in May.
Bournemouth paid # 10m to the Bosnia and Herzegovina worldwide during the summer of 2017 to Chelsea, and he has two years remaining in his existing deal.
Even the 32-year-old made 24 appearances in 2018/19, maintaining five Premier League sheets.
After winning their first few matches of the season, qarabag are Azerbaijan Premier League name champions for the previous six years and currently top the table.
They will meet Sevilla, APOEL Nicosia and Dudelange from the group stage of this Europa League.
