Against The Spread Pick
Little Rock will look to secure the regular season Sun Belt title when they take on Georgia State on Tuesday night. They currently have a 15-4 record in the conference, so they have been rolling against their Sun Belt opponents. Georgia State on the other hand, are fighting for the 4th seed in the conference, which would give them a bye to the quarterfinals next week. The Panthers are in a rough stretch right now, losing three games in a row, while the Trojans have won three games in a row. Little Rock have been decent ATS on the road this season, posting a 9-6 record. I cannot back Georgia State here based on their recent performances, so I will back the Trojans to clinch the regular season title.
Over Under Pick
I like the total much less because the Trojans can be inconsistent on the road. Scoring just 68.3 points per game in away games, Little-Rock could have some issues. It is worth noting that over their last five games, they are averaging 76.4 points, while allowing 72 points. The Panthers defense has also been suffering as of late, allowing 76 points per game over their last five. The over is 10-3 in Georgia State’s last 13 home games, and 7-3 in their last 10 overall. For the Trojans, the over is 14-3 in Little Rock’s last 17 games against the Sun Belt and 17-4 in their last 21 overall. I will not be betting this game, but it would be a lean to the over.
