Against the Spread Pick
The Washington State Cougars are happy to be in the midst of a three-game stretch at home. Washington State is 11-0 at home this season compared to 2-9 either on the road or at neutral sites. That is not good news for the Arizona Wildcats, who have dropped six of their past 11 contests on the heels of a 9-0 start. There seems to be a confidence crisis in the desert and leading scorer Zeke Nnaji is not getting much help. Washington State’s single-game leading scorer has delivered at least 21 points in four of their past five contests. C.J. Elleby and Isaac Bonton have shared those distinctions. The Wildcats are 3-10 ATS in their last 13 overall, 2-6 ATS in its last eight following a win, and 7-20-1 ATS in its last eight on Saturdays. Washington State is 4-0 ATS in its last four at home and 4-0 ATS in its last four as a home underdog. Nine points should be enough for the COUGARS to cover.
Over Under Pick
Nico Mannion, Arizona’s second-leading scorer behind Nnaji, has not shot better than 50 percent from the floor since Jan. 9–a stretch of five games. Nnaji is coming off a nine-point performance against Washington earlier this week. The under is 4-0 in the Wildcats’ last four on Saturdays. It is also 4-1 in the Cougars’ last five overall and 4-1 in their last five against opponents with winning records. The UNDER is the play here.
