Against the Spread Pick
After starting off the season so hot, Washington State has hit a bit of a skid during conference play. The Cougars started the season with a 9-4 record, including a stretch where they won six-straight games. Since then, they’ve gone 3-5, although one of those losses came against ranked Colorado. Perhaps more importantly, they topped ranked Oregon, proving that they really can keep up with any team on any given night. Unfortunately, it’s tough to figure out when those “any given nights” are going to pop up.
Over Under Pick
Meanwhile, things have been going a bit better for Arizona State. The Sun Devils are only 3-3 in their conference, but each of those losses (Arizona, Oregon, Colorado) came against ranked opponents. Arizona State finally broke through the other night in their second meeting vs. Arizona, winning 66-65. Most notably, Arizona State is an impressive 3-2 on the road, while their opponent has shown some cracks playing at home (9-2).
